How to find fare rules after the PNR is priced and ticketed (Amadeus)
Procedure
If a PNR has been priced and ticketed, you no longer have a direct link to the fare rules. To find the fare rules for the fare in a PNR, follow these steps:
- Display the TST to find the fare basis that has been priced or ticketed. Enter, for example:

Note: If the fare basis is no longer valid for sale, it might not be present in today's fare quote display. In this case, a past-date FQD entry is required.
- Find the correct fare basis in the list, then display the fare note. Enter, for example:
FQN1
In this example, the fare notes belong to the fare on line 01.
FQN1 displays all fare categories.
FQN1*PE displays only the penalties category.
FQN1*L displays a list of categories filed for that fare basis.
Note: Any queries relating to the content of the fare notes must be directed to the airline.

How to request a Fare Quote Display (FQD) for a past date ticket (Amadeus)
Description
- To request a Fare Quote Display (FQD) for a past date ticket, enter, for example:

How to display fare notes (FQN) from a fare display (FQD) (Amadeus)
Procedure
You can display fare notes from a current or past date Fare display. The fare notes that are displayed pertain to the dates in the Fare display. To display past date fare notes, request a Fare display for the date you want, then display the fare notes.
To display fare notes from a Fare display, enter the transaction code FQN and the line number of the fare. We will use the following Fare display to illustrate this functionality:
To display fare notes for the fare on line 6, enter:FQN 6

Most fares in Amadeus are filed in the ATPCO automated rules format and are organized into paragraphs called categories. You can customize your fare note request using 2-letter category codes or keywords in your entry.
For example, to display only advance purchase, minimum stay, penalty, and stopover information, enter:FQN6*AP,MN,PE,SO
