How to issue an EMD (Cryptic and Graphic) -Amadeus

 

Procedure

To issue an EMD, enter:

TTM

If a PNR contains more than one TSM and you do not enter the TSM number of the EMD that you want to issue in your TTM entry, all the TSM-Ps for all passengers are issued.

  • To specify the TSM number of the EMD that you want to issue, use the /M option. The TSM number is displayed in the TSM index, when you enter TQM.

  • If a PNR contains more than one passenger, you can also enter the passenger selection option /P to issue all the chargeable SSR/SVC segments for a specific passenger.

  • If you want to issue the EMDs for all infants in the PNR, enter the /INF identifier.

  • If you want to issue an EMD for specific SSR/SVC segments only, enter the SSR/SVC segment PNR line number selection option /L in your TTM entry.

The PNR is updated with the ticketing number and issue date information in the FA line, and the accounting sequence number and print command in the FB line.

System response:

To issue tickets and EMDs together, enter:

TTP/TTM

Note: When issuing tickets and EMDs together, the TTP entry always comes first.

How to issue an EMD (Graphic)

Procedure

  1. In the Stored Fares (TST & TSM) section, select the TSM checkbox. Click on Issue.


     
  2. Click the Issue button.


     
  3. Or:
    Scroll down to What do you want to do next? section and select Issue EMD or e-ticket.


     
  4. In this example, the e-ticket has been ticketed. Make sure to clear the TST box. Click the Issue button.


     
  5. The system will respond with a message. You can see the EMD number in the E-ticket and EMD section.
