Procedure
Codes are used for locations, airlines, companies and equipment in the entries you use in Amadeus. Different entries exist to encode or decode for example airlines and city or airport codes. The encode and decode transactions allows you to:
- Display the code for a full name.
- Display the full name for a code.
You can also find airline or airport codes on the internet.
Encode and decode entries:

DAC NYC | Decode city or airport code. |
DAN ZURICH | Encode city or airport name. |
DNA AY | Decode Airline code. |
DNA AIR INDIA | Encode Airline name. |
DC TH | Decode country (ISO) code. |
DC NORWAY | Encode country name. |
DNS QUEBEC | Encode state or province name. |
DNS AR | Decode state or province code. |
DNE AIRBUS or DNE 32N | Encode or decode equipment. |
DNH SCANDIC or DNH RD | Encode or decode Hotel chain or name. |
DNC BUDGET or DNC ZE | Encode or decode car companies. |
DNP AMTRAK or DNP 2V | Encode or decode Rail companies. |
